We didn't book here. We were moved here from the Melrose House Hotel. It was very cheap as most Pamukkale Hotels tend to be, but it was pretty awful. We were on the top floor in a couple of small rooms down a narrow corridor. The rooms were badly finished, particularly the bathrooms and were decorated with a strong purple theme throughout all the furniture, walls and soft furnishings. The breakfast was reasonable but the restaurant itself was pretty shoddy.
Probably fair for the price but certainly not somewhere I'll rush back to. Staff could have been more helpful as well. Having stayed at the Melrose House a couple of years ago, and wanting to stay for a night in Pamukkale again, I did try to book the House. However, it was suggested we stay here instead - and I have to say, I have mixed feelings between the 2. The Viewpoint is new, clean, and has great views of Pamukkale - but is perhaps a touch sterile? Never mind, it is fantastic value, and the service cannot be faulted - would recommend staying in either.
Wifi everywhere. Nice balcony with views. Maybe no need to have a separate single bed in the room, makes it a bit crowded - but obviously ideal for a family. Dinner was excellent, filling, local, and as everything else, great value and served really quickly in fact, maybe a touch too quick?
Pool looks beautiful, but too cold for an October dip! This is a modern hotel, spotlessly clean with very friendly staff situated in a quiet part of Pamukkale but within walking distance of the town centre and the travertines. The room was spacious, equipped with coffee facilities and a view of the travertines.
We had an excellent dinner of chicken kebabs, beautifully presented on a wooden platter with several side dishes. Breakfast, however, was very average but eggs were cooked to order. We were provided with beach towels to go swimming in the Antique Pool at Hierapolis. We also spent some time on the sunbeds by the hotel pool which is very pleasant. Eleven of us travelled from Akbuk 3 hrs and have enjoyed every minute of our two night stay. The hotel is family run, well equipped and immaculately clean.
